If you have a Stepcraft CNC you know how easy it is to switch the spindle for something else.
This alignment tool fits in place of the spindle and is the easiest alignment tool to print.
You've probably seen the others I have designed and made, they all use cheap laser pointer parts that all need to be aligned. This one uses the [slightly more expensive lasers](https://www.amazon.ca/WayinTop-Focusable-Adjustable-Module-Plastic/dp/B07THH7SPN/) that is constructed differently and has the laser aligned much better, almost exactly co-axial. Try to get the smaller angle (90 degrees) but the 120 degree version works well. I used a cross but a dot will work as well.
[Another laser cross](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1944852)
It does require slight alignment but it is very easy to do using the three #6 x 3/8" screws and once done never needs to be redone. If you don't want to use the screws then just use hotmelt, paper or some matchsticks.
The only less than perfect aspec
