A **stereotactic frame** is a quirurgical tool used for neurosurgeries, designed for guiding the surgeon’s tool to a specific point inside patient’s skull.
Although precision and trustability requirements of stereotactic surgery are hard to achieve by Fused Deposition Modeling, the price of the tool used in the operating room, of mechanical precision construction, is highly elevated, limiting the disponibility for educational purposes. This 3D model aims to present an educational tool, with which this type of interventions can be studied and practiced.
