Stitching Pony for leatherworkI wanted a stitching pony for my newfound interest in leatherwork, and I did find a few models, but I still thought there was room for improvement, and wanted to try out and improve my design skills in Fusion360, so I went and made a new one from scratch.FeaturesFolds up for compact storagePrint-in-place hinge for the main clampOptional embedded magnets for needle mindingCan use metal hardware or printed nuts and bolts (I used metal since the clamping force required can be quite high)Sleek and modern design with few componentsI printed it in PLA and have tested it for several leather projects without issue, but if you're concerned about strength, PETG (or ABS I suppose) can be used instead. (The filament I used is PrimaSelect Metal Shine - Coffee Gold)!!Notes!!It does require some supports for the clamp to print in place – this has been placed in the necessary spots in the print profile!!
