Stocking Hanger

This stocking hanger is designed to hold heavy-weight stockings. It was tested with a bundle of metal tools which would weigh more than the average stocking.
It has a top bar at a 3 degree inward angle to provide extra friction. The top bar is longer than the bottom to allow extra weight to be placed on it for people who think it's necessary.
The bottom bar includes a "speed bump" to keep it pinched tightly onto the hearth.
The hook design includes additional support to keep it straight and strong.
Included in the files are opposite models of the same size so that you can print more than one by nesting them into eachother while printing. The 40mm version should fit most 2x4s, while the 54mm version should fit many thicker hearths. Feel free to edit the vertical bar length in whatever 3D program you wish to fit your own hearth if needed.
No supports needed, no raft or brim necessary.
Print in PLA or PETG for best results.
