Strike & Sink: Action Game

I’d like to introduce a game I enjoy playing with my kids from time to time. It’s a game where we sink ships by shooting at them. The miniatures represent classic warships such as destroyers, submarines, and aircraft carriers. The idea of the game is simple: we place all the ships on water — for example in a bowl, a bathtub, or any other container. The ships float on the surface thanks to surface tension. When we start shooting at them, they slowly and satisfyingly sink. You can shoot using different accessories. Personally, I prefer little balls of modeling clay (plasticine, play doh) that we blow through a straw. My kids like to play bombers and drop pieces of clay onto the ships. To place the ships on the water’s surface, use the setup assistant. Set the ship on the notches and lower it into the water, and it will float nicely.
