Sunset Lamp Base

Base adapter for a cheap Sunset lamp I bought a cheap sunset lamp off amazon, the kind that vaguely looks like a sunset projected on your wall. It had two issues:The metal base is open, and will easily damage the surface it's sitting onThe wire comes out of the top of the lamp, even though the rod it's mounted on is hollow and fits the wire easilyThis printed base offers a solution to both those problems:Fix: This printed base adds a flat, solid base to the lamp, which makes it safer on the surface, and gives you a nice area to glue a non-slip pad toFix: I resoldered the lamp wires, and routed them through the lamp rod. This base adds a side-routing channel for the wire, and some empty space for the coiled wire, or if you'd like, space for a small micro-controller to make a dumb sunset lamp smart via e.g an esp32.The specific model I bought is a CORATED Sunset Lamp, but this should work for a lot of other versions of this product.
