My attempt at creating a simple spool holder. Since I have many different spool sizes, I wanted some kind of easy, adaptable spool holder that fits all my filament spools. I used some common 608zz bearings for the rolls and m3 screws and nuts. The other parts are just a quick print.
I'm using these spool holders for some time now without any issues.
Don't use this spool holder if your filament tends to tangle up or at least secure the spool in some way. Otherwise you risk damaging your printer.
Parts needed for one set:
- 4x M3x22 screws (or longer)
- 4x M3 locknut
- 4x ball bearing 608 (often used for fidget spinners and inline skates)
- (optional) some washer
- 2x base.stl
- 4x laufrad.stl / laufrad_0.2_tol.stl / laufrad_0.4_tol.stl (choose one)
- 8x innenaufnahme.stl
Update 31.03.19:
Added two more versions of the "laufrad" with bigger tolerances for the bearing. One with 22.2 mm and another one with 22.4 mm in diameter. So you don't have to scale up the part
