Suspension Bridge

This is a model of the 1867 Mosquito Bridge. Located at the South Fork of the American River in El Dorado county, in CA. The bridge is still in use today. It had a revamp in 1939. The bridge will have a 2026 replacement; larger, steel and concrete and about 400 feet above the water. This is a model of the current wood and cable bridge.
