Switch blade sword

Have you ever found yourself in a cave and thought that swinging your meter long sword was a bit troublesome. Well now you can get the handy Switch-blade Sword this weapon works both as a cleaver and as a long(samurai)sword. Enemy flees into a cave or a tight spot? No problem just turn your long sword into a cleaver and chop em up.

Made for cosplay

The sword is 823,748 mm long when its fully extended.

Tang part = 480,525 mm
Tip part = 343,324 mm
Lock = 16,94 mm
Guard = 19,853 mm
Hilt = 170,827 mm
Bottom cylindrical plug = max Ø25mm
Top cylindrical plug = max Ø25mm

The 3 sockets on the tip part and tang part are for neodymium block magnet size 10.0 x 4.0 x 2.0 mm so when you fold the blade it stays in place. One magnet has a pull of around 1 kg so 6 of them should be more then strong enough to keep the blade from opening on its own.

You can lock the blade when it's fully extended with the lock.

note that the lock is still a prototype.
