The original model was too short for the aftermarket (eXtremeRate) sticks I had and would slide after some use.
The stick travel might be too restricted on OEM Nintendo thumb sticks, but I am not certain.
If you have the same issue of the stick losing the octagonal gate effect after use, try this version, it may solve that for you like it did for me.
