A small, 180 class quadcopter frame made of Electrical-grade fiberglass. This frame is lighter than any other I have flown and handles the best out of all of them. Most importantly, it can handle crashes extremely well, even better with carbon fiber.
Frame folds for traveling be removing 2+ of the center bolts on the base plates.
Designed for 5 inch propellers and 16-19mm motor bolt spacing. Includes optional spacers to be printed and placed under 2 motors to ensure propeller clearance.
All parts were cut on 4'X8' Shopbot with a 1/8" carbide bit.
1 in/s feedrate with 3 passes.
3d-printed standoffs and motor spacers printed on Flashforge Creator Pro with ABS plastic
Frame was only 77 grams on its own.
Pictured above:
Motors- Multistar Elite 2204-2300kV
ESC- Afro 12A esc
Control Board- Naze32 Acro
PDB- Hovership Micro (replacing soon)
Battery- Zippy 1800mAh 25c (normally Lumenier 1500mAh 45c)
Weight w/o Battery- 293 grams
The fiberglass was 1/8" thick bought f
