Tabletop Lighter Set

Smoke ‘em if you got ’em. I always liked the fancy tabletop lighters that would often turn up in a beautifully decorated drawing room or parlor in old movies where everyone looked great and smoked like a chimney. Turns out, they're actually a little pricey and kinda fussy. So I made my own. This tabletop lighter has four main parts: a lid (with optional design on top), the main body, the base--which serves as an ashtray, and (here's the innovation) instead of a large refillable butane container just three standard disposable lighters. I don't want to include the lighters' brand name in case the trademark and copyright hawks are nearby, but I can tell you that they are ubiquitous. Insert the three lighters back to back with the red levers facing out. Place the main body on top of the ashtray base, and place the lid on top. When in use, remove the lid, flip it over, and it serves as a new base for the main body while you use the ashtray base as--well--an ashtray. Sit back
