THE ROCKET

This model rocket consists of 3 parts (nose cone, middle section and engine section) and is very easy and fast to print. It fits common 18mm engines like Estes or Klima.

Stable flight behaviour was achieved by using an 18mm C6 rocket engine (19 grams of weight) and 20-30g nose cone weight (I glued up to 25g of steel balls into the nose cone). For other engines adjust the weight of the nose cone to achieve a center of gravity @ about 90-100mm (measured from the basis) for perfect flight stability.

Parachute can be added. Use a 1m steel rod with 3.2mm diameter to launch the rocket.

Flight hight of 1500ft (450m) or more is easily possible depending on your rocket engine.
