Thickness Guide

This is a simple print was designed to help students (and others) to visualize wall thickness in their designs.

Often students design projects with walls that are far thicker than needed resulting in print times that take too long.

The model also lets students feel the flexibility of and compliance of the material printed at different thicknesses.

This model is stuck to the wall above my classroom printers for students to reference.

Currently I have only printed in PLA. I plan to print copies in other materials.
