Thread and Bobbin Stand

When I make a single bed quilt, I find that I need 3 bobbins worth of thread. I have also found that I use the same thread colours (mid-blue, mid-green etc), again and again.

So this stand allows me to store the thread spool and three bobbins. There are two poles for the bobbins so that I can store 1-3 empty ones as well as 1-3 full ones.

There is a thread catch/stop that fits on top of the thread rod so that the thread can be slid between it and the rod, so it does not unspool in the drawer. There is a sleeve that slides over the full bobbins for the same purpose.

Finally there is a shell that sits around the whole thing, so that I can remove one from the drawer without the others 'floating' around the drawer. I sit the one I am using next to my machine.
