Thumb splint

This is a simple 3 piece thumb splint for emergency use; to keep it from moving avoid further damage. It's not very comfortable or incredibly well designed; but it is fast to print an does the job (roughly 1:30-2 hours with a 6mm nozzle). To assemble it, glue the 3 pieces together in whichever distance you find most comfortable; or re- scale to fit your arm (this design was meant for a hand that, from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger, is 19cm). To atach it to the arm, you can really use anything; but electrical tape or similar dhesives work just fine. Avoid using rubber bands; they can easily reduce blood flow if they are too tight.
