Remix of qtrx_fpv "Tile self level system"
I noticed in the comments section of the original design (or it was BlueSkys12's remix) that they might not break off as easy before grouting. After looking at the design, i think the "thinning" section meant to allow them to break off is in the wrong direction (compared to commercial designs where you are supposed to break them off parallel to the grout lines.) I made my version easy to break off along the grout line. Testing them in hand, they were fairly easy to break off clean with the base plate. I did use supports and printed the "T-lock" in an upside down T position. It increased printing time and material, but I found it was worth it to have a flatter area for the wedge to contact. I also made them thin enough to dual purpose them into a 3mm (1/8") tile spacer to suit my grout line thickness.
I also designed a simple clamp block to allow even pressure when setting the wedges. Without it, it was very easy to break the "T-lock" by
