The Tile Mate 2022 does not have a replaceable battery. It can be replaced but the original case will be damaged when you open it. The battery terminals are spot welded to the battery and need to be torn off the battery.

This case snaps together and does not come apart. You will need to destroy this case whenever you change the battery. This is by design to ensure the case is strong and will not fall apart. This case allows the button on the tile to still work when you press in the center. The case is almost the same size at the original but is 1mm thicker.

When you open the old tile, pull out the board, rip the battery terminals off the battery but make sure they don't come off the circuit board. Carefully peel the speaker off the old tile.

On the new printed case, stick the speaker on the speaker mount. Push t
