Tool Caddy (Large) | Tool Box

Not finding a toolbox that would meet my needs, I designed my own.

This is a large sized tool caddy that can be printed in parts and then assembled with a few screws. Once assembled, thin-wall tubes insert into the main body; this approach saves on infill and support. In fact, this print requires NO SUPPORT, and requires few retractions. The thin wall tubes keep the tools upright, allow for large tools including wire strippers, and also provides containment to small tools such as small combination wrenches or allen keys.

The tool caddy also has interior tabs for glue (either hot or model glue). I used 4mm screws to attach the handle and 3/8 machine screws (or you can use 3mm screws) to hold the box together. The thin wall tubes are a tight fit which is also good (you should test one to see how it fits before printing all 8.) The tabs have .2mm clearance so everything fits snuggly.
