Touch plate probe socket mount

This mount will attach a common 12mm outside diameter DC female connector to a 3018 CNC router. I designed this to connect my homemade touch plate probe, but you can use it to connect any probe by attaching a male DC 5.5mm OD 2.5mm ID connector the probe. The female jack connects to the A5 pin and ground on the controller board. Universal Gcode Sender has a probe module that automates the Z probe, or it can by done by entering gcode directly in the console.

I usually print mechanical parts in PETG to add some strength, but this part doesn't take a lot of stress so PLA should work as well.
