Traxxas T Maxx Electric Conversion

OK, so i have a few rc cars. and most of them are nitro, sadly nitro can be a absolute pain in the rear to tune. so i wanted to run my TMaxx 3.3 on a Titan 775 brushed motor with the EVX-2 ESC. i ended up designing this and it has served me well over the last few months. running the stock 54 tooth spur and a 22 tooth pinion this truck goes fast. Eventually i will be adding a Brushless 2650 or 2200kv motor instead, for now though the 775 serves me well on 4s.

In order to get this to work. you need to remove the engine, the reciever section and the nitro tank, it should mount right behind the spur gear no problem. after lining up everything and setting gear mesh, use a marker to mark the 4 holes that were originally used to mount the nitro engine on the bottom of the plate. then drill 4 holes for a nut and bolt to run through. i just picked a few up from my local canadian tire. after that tighten everything down and you should now be rocking a Electric TMaxx.
