Triwizard Cup

The Triwizard Cup is a mesmerizing prop found in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I modeled this version for our Harry Potter watch party (same inspiration for the Basilisk) to place next to the Stag from the prior movie. The center is hollow so that fairy lights can be inserted from the top and bottom as desired, and are easy to move around to get the desired effect. Other lights could be used, that's just what I had! Playing with the infill and wall layers gives the opportunity to fine tune the “floating magical” effect as desired. The print profile is set to print the letters at 100% infill to give an obvious difference between them and the cup. I am currently working on printing one out of glow firefly filament, which I will upload separately once I've tuned it! Changing the infill density of the word “Triwizard” lets you use the same filament for the blue portion of the cup while still being able to read the word.
