This turret base is the unblinking eye of a frontier bunker, its octagonal ring designed to rotate 360 degrees while shrugging off small arms fire. Servos whine beneath the reinforced collar as it tracks movement, ready to accept anything from autocannons to plasma repeaters. Gunners who man the platform call it the "widowmaker," not for the enemies it vaporizes, but for how often it spins a replacement into position before the smoke clears.
