This is a clip for the struts of large turtle basking docks made by the likes of Zoo Med, Penn Plax and Youthink, to help keep turtles shells dry when they are basking and stop heavy turtles from tipping over the float due to their weight. As basking under a good heat source is an important part of maintaining a turtle's overall health, this is a helpful and useful tool for all turtle caretakers.

In the above example I have a large turtle basking dock so I have printed 4 copies of the clips to support each of the four struts, which helps keep the float in place. The clips are ribbed on the inside so they will not fall off easily. Whilst almost any PLA material can be used, carbon PLA is considered the best for this item. Using your standard 3D printer settings at 30% infill should do the job. It should be noted for best print quality to add a support raft to your print.
