Twisted Lamp - Wanted to try BL Translucent PETG for first time, and enter the light contest. Materials: Bought a roll of the Blue and dryed the Filament according to BL recommendations Used Engineering Plate with a light glue stick as suggested. Design was created to use cheap EL Wire lights - Note: You need to cut the ‘tip’ off the EL Wire. It will still work , just won't be water resistant any more. Printing : Center sections first and the first two pieces were having a sad. Cancelled those two, and slowed the speed to 50%. Success on the rest. For the Base - Printed a temporary to check tolerances, and test the EL wire clearance. Center sections snap fit together nicely, no glue required. They are the same piece, rotated 22.5 degrees, and nest into each other. Lights - Just weave the wire up and down through the base and the center set of holes, and the outer spiral, from the bottom up. I tried a few colors with various levels of effect.
