This design is a two axis printed linear stage capable of a positioning accuracy in the order of 10 micron. Besides 3D printed parts it only uses 2mm metallic rods, two 40mm spring and two 55mm M3 bolt with nut and washer. The complete fabrication process is described in an instructable: https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-3D-Printed-Linear-Stage/ I also designed other linear stages and a micromanipulator compatible with this model, all the files and building instructions are available here: Linear stages: https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-3D-Printed-Linear-Stage/ Rotational stages (in plane): https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-3D-Printed-Rotational-Platform/ Out-of-plane rotation (goniometric) stage: https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-3D-Printed-Goniometric-Stage-tilt-Correcti/ Micromanipulator: https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-3D-Printed-Micro-manipulator/
