uPVC Window Catch

If you have indoor cats like we do, in the hot weather it can be a bind keeping the windows latched so that they don't escape!! (alternatively, you may want to open the windows a bit, but want to keep the neighbourhood cats/etc out!!)

So I designed this little catch which clips onto the frame of the uPVC windows and the handle is trapped so that it can only open a small amount. This has been sized for a 60mm high uPVC cross-member, but you could scale it to suit. (you can also selectively scale it to make it open further)

This is not a security device, don't leave you home thinking these will deter someone from climbing in, but so far, this has outwitted our cats!!
