I wanted to put a camera on the rover, so I bought a small one like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-5MP-HD-Webcam-Web-Cam-Camera-for-Computer-PC-Laptop-Desktop-UK-/222535768482
I stripped it down to remove the PCB and lens then designed a more compact mounting for it. It screws onto the pan-tilt head https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1642426 with self-tapping screws (i.e. directly into the plastic).
This is a USB camera, so you need a Raspberry PI or similar to connect it to and stream the video.
Note that the lag is very large, up to several seconds, so not really suitable for FPV-equivalent solutions.
It is specifically designed for this type of camera is it directly mounts the inner PCB and lens assembly. I wouldn't expect it to work with other cameras without modification.
