Valkyries

The choosers of the slain, guides of the dead to Odin's Hall, The valkyries are war-maidens of myth. Depicted in the poetic eddas as fair maidens riding horses. In some depictions, these horses are winged. We have chosen to depict the Mythical Valkyries as such, as war-maidens equipped for battle and riding winged steeds. Sculptor: Gia Huy
