Vent

This thing describes the holder for a fan. For example, you can use it to cool down your print bed or blow away harmful soldering fumes.
The "Sockel" is used to accommodate a DC socket and, if you wish, a switch. If you don't want to install a switch, you can close the hole provided with the "Stoepsel". The “Sockel” and “Staender” parts are glued together. Make sure that you need 3 mm of space for the “Deckel”. Superglue has proven effective for gluing PLA. The “Rahmen” is rotatably attached to the “Staender” with screws. The "Distanzstuecke" come in between. The screws are tightened just enough so that the “Rahmen” can be turned with slight resistance. I used M3 x 10mm screws and a lock nuts for this. If you don't have locknuts, you can use the thumbscrews and an ordinary nuts.The ears on the corners of some parts are used for better adhesion to the print bed and can be easily broken off after printing.
