A 3D printed jig for testing vertical alignment, in my case, testing my table saw blade to make sure it is at exactly 90 degrees from the table. Lots of details at https://tomhorsley.com/hardware/solidoodle/solidoodle-saw.html.

The OpenSCAD files are included if you have a higher saw blade or different diameter dial indicator, it can be customized by editing the source files.
