This is a Customizable Vive Rifle made using 2 types of screws+nuts, 1/2" PVC Pipe, and 3D printed components.
I have designed this setup to be lightweight, easy to print and assembly, and most importantly, easy to use while in VR. The rear controller is fixed in place when using this setup and the front controller is removable using a quick connect attachment fixtured through the "donut" of the controller. Included are the files for an optional Shoulder strap.
- This setup will work with both a rifle and a pistol in games such as Onward and H3VR.
I have tested this in H3VR and found that the only guns which do not work well are the ones where the magazine is behind the grip, since that space is taken by PVC in this design. I have not found a single rifle or pistol in Onward which did not function perfectly
To use it as a pistol you can use the optional shorter barrel, or simply use it as is. If you need to two hand a pistol (for example onward) you can attach the
