This comb was found on an archeological dig that can be dated to the Viking-Age.

Single-faceted combs from the Viking Age were primarily crafted from materials like antler or bone. These combs had a robust design, consisting of multiple plates held together by metal rivets, forming a single row of teeth on one side. They were functional grooming tools used for personal care, but they also held symbolic and cultural significance. Combs were commonly found in Viking graves, often included as part of burial rituals, indicating their importance in daily life and possibly as status symbols. The craftsmanship varied, with some combs featuring intricate designs, such as carvings or decorative inlays of amber or other materials.

I have 3D-scanned the original comb with an artec scanner, then used Blender to recreate the form of how the comb could have looked like in its prime. The recreation is made so you can seperate all parts in a slicer and print them for your own assembly. Happy Pri
