This wall J-hook protrudes out exactly 6 inches from the wall where it's mounted. I made this because I needed to support my 3d catan board at an angle so it wouldn't all fall onto the ground when I put it up for display. As you can see in the last photo it can hold a decent amount of weight, but I don't have the exact calculations.
