Wavy Candlestick

My wife got a couple of metal candle holders for her birthday. They were the kind where you are supposed to put them in an empty wine bottle. Anyway, I made these candlesticks for them instead :) If you can't find the candle holders I also uploaded a printable replica that you can print and glue/screw together.

I actually created the mesh for this model using MATH(!) and programming(!). More specifically, the 7 layers are the surfaces of polar functions which i generated in Blender 3D using a Python script I wrote.

Warning!
Please note that most plastics we use to 3d print are flammable, so use with caution. On the other hand, there are candle sticks made out of wood. Be safe, perform tests!
