Window airing bracket

I know that this exact design is probably only useful for very few of you, but I still hope other can use it for inspiration. In our house the windows are hinged at the top. It is really nice that we can open the windows and they stay open, without having noises from a window ladge or something.

The only small problem is when you don't want to have the windows wide open, because if they are left just slightly open, they tend to close at the slightest wind.

Therefore I made these airing brackets that will keep the windows 10cm open. The bracket is designed for the specific windows we have (kastrup vinduet, wood-alu); it might fit other windows, but I wouldn't know.

I wanted the bracket to be as strong as possible, so I have not bend the bracket per design. Instead, I printed it lying flat on the printing bed, and then use a hot air gun to heat it and bend it to the desired shape.
