My girlfriend got into crocheting and told me how difficult it was to crochet and hold her yarn at the same time. So I came up with this. This yarn holder comes in 2 pieces and does not need support. The only thing that is needed is a regular sized skateboard bearing (8mm inside/22mm outside). You might need to use a rubber mallet to squeeze the bearing into the top piece. To make sure the whole thing didn't move when you pulled on the yarn, 3/4 washers were placed around the center pillar to add weight. You can get these at Home Depot. Then just add a little Krazy glue around the inside of the bearing and stick it onto the bottom piece. Make sure to hold down when glueing and make sure its centered so that it doesn't spin at an angle.
