Shark Wheel drive for electric skateboard

This is my first foray into electric skateboards. I liked the Shark Wheels because they work very well on the streets around me and I decided to try to drive them with custom 3d printed parts. I got a few good runs until things started to fail and I don't think they can be fixed easily.

* The pulley has nothing solid to contact so it can be hard to get aligned. This requires the belt to be tighter.
* The pulley is too far away from the bearings. This gives the belt more leverage to pull
