3D Printer Housing

Update 8/4/18
I purchased some 2020 extrusions and made a model to revamp the enclosure completely. Some of the enclosure will be made out of wood due to me using the amount I had for the dremel cnc project I'm working on. The arm out to the side is for the dry box, my extruder is up high. I may even mount it on top of the cage.

This is something that about everyone can build. Just a fun little project I have been wanting to do for my Rostock Max V3.

The Base:
Basically, I made a frame comprised of 2"x4"s which measures 2ft by 2ft. Then cut a piece of scrap plywood to that same measurement and screwed it down on top. I then added legs, 2ft long each.

The Enclosure:
I purchased these 2'x4'x 1/8" polycarbonate at a local glass shop. I have 4-2'x4' panels for the sides and 1-2'x2' panel for the top. I bought some 1"x4"x8' pine for the corners. I ended up ripping these boards in half to reduce weight
