This is my homemade anemometer that helped me out during hurricane Irma. What this is supposed to be is a spinning cup assembly that turns the shaft of a small electric motor to create voltage out the other side that can be tracked by a voltmeter or micro controller such as an Arduino Uno. It is made to fit most small motors and work with most size shafts. This design is compact and light, and fits inside of most bags. A vain could also be retrofitted if you choose, and the better quality motor you have, the more accurate your readings will be. I have supplied you with a draft of two options you can use to make yours. I want you to take this and make this!!!!! Please show me what you make!!!!!! I love to see what other people make from my ideas, and if you could like the video and subscribe in YouTube that would also be great!
