A level bed is one thing; a flat bed is another! I kept wondering why my perfectly level bed always required 'baby steps' after the priming bead was laid down. With this thing I finally figured out that there was a lump in the bed all along one edge!
This unit is designed to attach to the print head of a direct drive machine without interfering with the drive motor. First tap the four holes in the frame M4. Thread in two: M4x14mm SHCS to the side mounts and two: M4 x 14mm BHMS to the front mounts. Attach the frame to the print head. Finger tight is good enough on the two socket head bolts. Mount indicator and then slide the slots over the two button head screws. Tighten these so indicator is fixed securely.
