Parametric Nose Cone Adaptation

Stuphi made a lovely nose cone scad model that generates the basic nose cone shape. What this scad file does is wraps that nose cone library with some utility functions to control wall thickness, shoulder size, and a hole to mount an eye bolt to. I've successfully used this to make a variety of nose cones. Pictured are two different sizes that fit a standard paper roll tube, and a replacement nose cone for the Estes Flutter By.

Note that some adhesives don't work well with printed plastics, so be sure your shoulder piece is well-secured to the nose cone. The ridges from the layers actually help here since it provides space foe the adhesive to lock in place.

Also, be sure you get good layer adhesion. There's not a lot of sheering force on the nose, but you wouldn't want it coming part in flight.
