I wanted a projection clock to project the time on the ceiling when laying in bed. I did not want another device on the bed table that would move around or get covered occassionally so I made a new housing for it that can be squashed between the headboard and the wall. I used the electronics from the cheapest projection clock I could find. Just browse for the small cubic cheap projection clock (see picture) and dismantle it. No soldering needed. Reuse the original lens and snap it into place in the front. Slip the display through the rectangular slot in the bottom half. Push it all the way out and then push the display back in through the display slot. Push it all the way through and slide it in position in the top half. Be carefull with the display and the plastic flatcable as they are delicate. Straighten the led pins and push the led into place in the top part. Snap the two parts together. You might need to push or pull the display a bit to get it into perfect position. Glue the two
