Quick 3D printer tolerance test

This is a quick tolerance test for your 3D printer. You need a pin and a corresponding hole in your 3D design. Making both exactly the same diameter will not work, as the pin won't fit. Perform this test print to estimate how much extra tolerance you need to add. Normally, a well-calibrated machine needs an extra 0.2mm diameter for a tight fit and an extra 0.3mm for a loose fit. This means you need either add 0.2/0.3mm to the hole diameter or subtract 0.2/0.3mm from the pin diameter. The test cube is 10.0 mm in diameter. The pins are:0 - 10.0 mm diameter, same as the test cube1 - 9.9mm diameter, -0.1mm diameter compared to the test cube2 - 9.8mm diameter, -0.2mm diameter …3 - 9.7mm diameter, -0.3mm diameter …4 - 9.6mm diameter, -0.4mm diameter …5 - 9.5mm diameter, -0.5mm diameter … Cut pins loose after printing.Boost MePlease, boost me!
