I've been using a pretty bad DIY trackIR clip for a while now, from before I had a 3d printer. So, I decided to upgrade.
This is a 3d printable TrackIR clip, which uses a 3.7V 1200mAh 103040 lipo battery, TP4056 board for charging, and 3 SFH485P IR LEDs. It attaches to my headset with 6mmx5mm neodymium magnets and washers, so that I can easily put it on and remove it. I've included .stl for printing and .f3d files if you want to edit parts to fit other batteries or charge boards. There is a BOM in the files section. Note that this was designed for the Steelseries Arctis 7 headset, and may not work well, especially on open back headsets.
"headset magnet" part attaches to the headset with double sided tape, with either magnets or washers inserted into them, the "magnet clip" part holds the 6x5mm magnets and has holes for the posts on the headset magnet part to go into. It also has screw holes so that it can attach to the trackIR clip part with nuts. These two are completely optiona
