Stud Finder

This tool is a single piece that can help detect studs within a wall. It is intended to accept 2 rectangular magnets on the underside, which will sit flush with the housing. It also contains 2 circular holes, useful for drilling or marking.

The magnets used have the dimensions of 60mm x 10mm x 3mm and were purchased on Amazon (link below). The cavity height is padded by 1mm to allow for double-sided adhesive tape, which helps keep the magnets secure.
