There is a hole on the bottom of the mounting bracket in case i ever wanted to add a guard around the wheel to keep it from falling off but it hasn't skipped the wheel yet. It might be able to be used for a filament run out sensor.

the mounting bracket is best printed on its back with support in the overhang gap, on its top would not be very structurally sound.
